WANA (Dec 26)The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson has condemned the United Nations’ inaction regarding the escalating violations and crimes committed by the Israeli regime, calling it a breach of the organization’s responsibilities under the UN Charter.

Esmail Baghaei, the ministry’s spokesperson, strongly denounced Israel’s military attacks on Sana’a International Airport, Hodeidah port facilities, and Yemen’s energy infrastructure, describing the actions as a blatant violation of international norms and principles.

He further asserted that these assaults carried out with the support and complicity of the United States and the United Kingdom, undermine global peace and security.

Highlighting the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the expansion of Israeli aggression into other regional countries, Baghaei linked the attacks on Yemen’s civilian infrastructure to a broader Israeli agenda aimed at weakening and destabilizing Islamic nations. He urged the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other regional and international bodies to take immediate action.

“These aggressions are undeniable crimes against the resilient and honorable people of Yemen, who have shown unwavering solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people in their fight against occupation and genocide,” Baghaei stated.
